House at the zoo

1997, Leipzig.
Renovation and extension of a listed historic 19th century building. We implemented maisonette apartments under the mansard roof and offices in the other spaces. This project offered lots of unexpected surprises like beautiful hidden ceiling paintings, but also the poisonous true dry rot.
Client: Rechtsanwälte Peter Michael Diestel, Potsdam and Groenewold, Hamburg
